everything happens so much

Kiddo's school year has just been canceled; they're still sending out work but they've just given up hope of going back to actual school for now. Homeschooling is...going. I think we're finally getting into a groove. I want to start introducing art and music back in once we get a pattern of reading and math down. She's just a verybullheaded strong-willed child, and gets frustrated easily. It's going.
D is currently working in the basement, doing call center work. I'm super glad he can work from home, bc a. he's working 2. he's at home, which is also great bc iii. his anemia has come back with a vengeance. He's taking supplements and stuff but. It's not great. We know what's causing it but it requires actual medical intervention to stop it and well. [gestures at the world in general]
S has been cut down to basically 8 whole hours a week, and we're pretty sure her store is just gonna close soon. Luckily she's already in the unemployment system* but she hasn't heard back since she applied. With the number of applications surging in idk if or when she'll hear anything, and that stimulus check is a joke with how long it's gonna take to roll out.
(*she was briefly furloughed due to a cough that it took a week and a half to prove to them was allergies)
Kiddo's almost out of her long-lasting insulin and without her mom's work we have no chance of getting her on insurance. Unless S gets some real good unemployment we're fucked, financially. All I can do is put out feelers for commissions and I don't usually get much feedback on those, plus no one has money to spend on stuff like custom fanfiction right now.
But I jumped on the Animal Crossing bandwagon, so that's happening. Persona 5 Royal came out. I'm still doing icons bc goddammit, it's fun, I can listen to podcasts while I do it and I (usually) enjoy it.
I'm just real tired.
